Job Description

Job Overview:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall financial management, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The Finance Manager also provides leadership to the finance and accounting team, ensuring efficient processes in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing activities. The role works closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly closing processes.
  • Prepare and review timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business operations and financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, audit standards, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Review and approve financial reports, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules prepared by the finance team.
  • Monitor cash flow, banking facilities, and financial risk exposure, providing recommendations to management.
  • Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business decisions and performance improvement.
  • Lead and develop the finance team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process improvements by reviewing and enhancing accounting workflows, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
  • Lead and support ad hoc finance and business projects such as system implementation, automation initiatives, cost optimization, and operational improvements.
  • Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives from a financial perspective.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional certification such as CFA/CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting & proven track record in process, typically 5+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles..
  • Proficiency in financial software Autocount, UBS, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence business decisions.
  • Ability to sustain high level performance, problem solve and meet demanding work deadlines with limited supervision.
