You will observe the daily operations of the service, which serves as the primary resource for carer registration, payments, claims, crowdshare settlements, and third-party integrations (Fiuu, Atome, IHP, Brevo, SAF Gateway). Throughout the internship, you will progress from reviewing pull requests and creating integration documentation to making your own decisions on scoping: determining what constitutes a schema change, what should be included in a service versus a controller, and when a payment flow requires its own pairing. By the end of the internship, you will take ownership of backend product decisions for a Malaysia-focused healthcare and insurance platform serving thousands of users.
