Job Description

a) Lead and facilitate local technical exchanges for component localization, ensuring the alignment and confirmation of component development plans. Develop and manage detailed schedules for component development while overseeing any process-related challenges to ensure smooth progress.

b) Take full responsibility for monitoring the development of supplier jigs, fixtures, and tooling, ensuring the accurate and timely validation of components through real-vehicle matching. Actively resolve any quality issues that arise during the vehicle assembly process to guarantee high standards.

c) Conduct regular supplier audits to evaluate and enhance the quality of the component development process. Collaborate closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvements and assist in facilitating the completion of local certification audits for seamless project progression.

d) Spearhead the negotiation and signing of critical technical documents, including but not limited to product specifications, technical agreements, drawings, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and supply agreements, ensuring all parties are aligned with the technical requirements and timelines.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia, we are also seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to better serve our Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with working experience in automotive industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication & negotiation skills.
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Melaka.
• Full-time position.
