Key Responsibilities

• Build backend systems using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
• Customise and maintain CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal
• Design and optimise MySQL databases and backend logic
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs and external services
• Troubleshoot backend issues and security concerns
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure functionality and delivery
• Keep up with backend trends and best practices

Job Requirements

• Nationality: Malaysians only
• Position Level: Mid/Senior-level
• Education: Diploma or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Language: Strong English communication skills

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of backend development in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Drupal (not just templating)
• Strong MySQL knowledge (schema planning, query tuning)
• REST API development and third-party service integration
• Git workflows, secure coding practices, and deployment readiness
• Cloud/server knowledge is a bonus
