Job Description

Responsible for creating content: coming up with content angles with team, interviewing people for the right information for the content, writing article content, editing content based on managing editor's feedback, attending events on behalf of the company

We're looking for interns who want to gain experience in:

+ creating content for an online publication with content that revolves around startups, entrepreneurs, businesses, tech, and other digital lifestyle topics

+ attending events that are related to the local SME ecosystem

+ researching entrepreneurship and tech related topics

+ interviewing to get all the facts and information to tell someone's story in an interesting, bite-sized, easily digestible manner

+ coming up with the right shareworthy topics, and content angles

+ enjoy working in a tight-knit team and prefers to wear casual wear in the office

Job Requirements

• Familiar with Vulcan Post's brand and content.
• Have a personal interest in getting the stories of businesses and interesting people told.
• Excellent English writing proficiency to write and also check/edit your work.
• Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Not afraid to ask questions or voice out any confusion.
• Inquisitive, and eager to always learn more to keep up with news and happenings.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision to manage your own daily workflow and meet individual and team KPIs.
• Able to travel to our office in Subang Jaya 3 days a week (hybrid work arrangement)
• Thrive in working in a close knit environment and in casual attire.
