OVERVIEW

  • Committed and accountable for WFG operation with KPI & SOP adhered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To assist warehouse executive in monitoring the warehouse and loading section efficiently and effectively, ensuring process control of stock movement are adhered according to established procedures, work instruction and instruction given.
  • To ensure finished goods receiving, put away, storage and issuance in the warehouse according to the purchase order, size and type.
  • To ensure finished goods are stored at designated area without causing damages or contamination.
  • To ensure reject goods and sample are return back to production packing section and follow up on the replacement.
  • To coordinate finished goods loading activities into the container or other delivery mode to meet the shipment schedule.
  • To make sure loading activities carried out smooth and ensure all the document in order, from pre counting, QA release form and other required documents.
  • Ensure all safety policies, procedures, and training requirement are followed.
  • Monitor space utilization and report to immediate superior any abnormalities found.
  • Measure and monitor daily operational KPI’s (e.g. productivity, picking/put away/ loading accuracy) and take corrective measures for variances vs. agreed standards.
  • Communicate and update shipping team on container status followed by agreed window time.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Preferably with college diploma or any relevant certificate or extensive warehouse supervisory experience of not less than 5 years.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) years of warehouse experience and proficient in Warehouse Management System.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership skill and able to motivate others.
  • Can build a team environment and effective relationship.
  • Effective communication and strong organization skills.
  • Know how prioritize workload, resourceful and attention to detail.
  • Good in scheduling task to meet deadlines and possess good customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Applications, particularly Word & Excel and very familiar with WMS concept and application tools.
  • Ability to instruct and supervise employees.
  • Ability to control the disbursement of supplies and finished goods through directing the posting of inventory control cards or automated systems.
  • Ability to maintain work schedules and uphold work standards.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate program and team performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to analyse and control inventory.
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Ability to identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is conducted and hold informational sessions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of standard practices, procedures, and equipment used in the receipt, storage, requisitioning, and disbursement of stocks & supplies.
  • Knowledge of training and supervising techniques and employee policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
  • Knowledge of labour relations, equal employment opportunity policies and procedures.
