Job Description

They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we’d love to speak with you.

Responsibilities:

• Building and setting up new development tools and cloud infrastructure
• Responsible for backend system integration, e.g. GraphQL, RESTful API development, etc.
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Job Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience working with various DevOps tools
• Must have hands-on experience working on DevOps for ruby/javascript/python applications
• Hands on experience implementing CI/CD/CT pipelines using any CI/CD tools
• Experience in developing and maintaining build and CD process applications
• Hands on experience working with source control repositories including : Git
• Hands on experience working scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, javascript, shell, etc
• Hands-on experience and strong understanding of Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)
• Hands-on experience and strong understanding of Kubernetes / Docker
• Hands on experience on Linux systems and able to perform based administrative tasks as required
• Hands on experience creating runbooks
• Basic understanding and ability to automate tasks
• Expert knowledge of code deployment tools and software development methodologies
