Job Description

• Design and develop REST API using Node.js
• Ensure a highly secure infrastructure and scalable architecture
• Contribute to design and improve service-based architectures
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, UX designers and Product Manager to drive high quality, on-time deliverables
• Assist in quality assurance process and customer issue resolution
• Work in accordance with applicable policies, processes, and procedures constituting the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes but is not limited to the organization’s Information Security Policy, Data Protection Policy, Clean Desk & Screen Policy & Password Management Policy.

Job Requirements

• Experience in-depth expertise in creating & managing RESTful APIs using Node.js (NestJS)
• Experience of optimizing API performance by implementing caching mechanisms (Redis), optimizing database queries, and minimizing latency.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing backend services for performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Github Action) with 3-5 years of experience
• Good experience in developing microservices using Node.js and other server-side technologies
• Good knowledge of Postgres database and ORM framework (TypeORM)
• Cloud knowledge and familiarity with AWS (ECS/Lambda)
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of working in an Agile environment
• Experience with Identity Service Provider (Auth0, Cognito etc)
• Experience with version control service (e.g.: GitHub), unit testing (TDD), and collaborative development
