Job Description

• Develop and implement internal monitoring frameworks to ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits of academic and administrative departments to assess adherence to SOPs and quality benchmarks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and relevant committees.
• Coordinate with external auditors and accreditation bodies during institutional reviews and inspections.
• Monitor risk management practices and recommend mitigation strategies for operational and academic risks.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of non-compliance issues and follow-up actions.
• Support the development of internal control systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain records of audit activities, findings, and resolutions in a secure and organized manner.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement corrective actions and track progress.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Review and update monitoring tools and templates to align with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing documentation for MQA, MOHE, and other accreditation agencies.
• Participate in institutional strategic planning and contribute to policy development.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of audit data and sensitive information.
• Provide periodic updates to the Board and Management on audit outcomes and compliance status.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Compliance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in auditing, compliance, or institutional monitoring.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian regulatory frameworks and accreditation standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management tools.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
