Job Description

• Responsible for effective quality management system and reviewing the quality system procedures.
• To liaise with external parties such as consultants, certification bodies or on matter related to the quality management system.
• Ensure the company’s quality standards are achieved and maintained with a targeted emphasis on continuous improvement programs.
• Leading and control QA / QC operations, supervision including staff development, coaching and performance review of team members.
• Authorized to release documents for internal use.
• Authorized to stop production to correct quality problem.
• Work interactively with internal and external team to seek out refinement and improvements to product quality.
• Analyze the function performance based on the process, product, internal audit findings, customer complaints, quality record and whatever sources of information to analyses the seriousness or repetitive problem or trend.
• To lead internal audits and ensure compliance with customer audits and external audits about product compliance.
• To proactively involved in cost reduction activities.
• Monitor team work progress, anticipate and resolve problems and contractual disputes.
• Developing rapport and working effectively with a diverse range of people, sharing knowledge and skills to deliver shared goals.

Job Requirements

• A tertiary Degree in Lab Technology. Statistic is added advantages or at least Diploma in the same discipline.
• Formal qualification in auditing would be an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the textile manufacturing industry or 3+ years in Quality Systems/Investigations-CAPA and/or documentation roles
• Experience in an ISO 9001 or ISO 22000 environment is good advantages
• Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of employees 
• Experience in textile manufacturing plant processes is advantages 
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems 
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing 
• Project management and troubleshooting skills 
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word 
• Good knowledge of statistics and statistical processes; ability to use Quality Tools such as bench marking, brainstorming, gap analysis, Pareto analysis, fish-bone diagrams, and process mapping for fact-based decision-making
