Job Description

• Oversee project accounting for various event projects, including budget tracking, cost allocation, and profit margin analysis.
• Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring healthy liquidity and timely payments.
• Prepare and maintain the company’s P&L statements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project financials.
• Handle daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Review and process claims, invoices, and staff reimbursements in compliance with internal policies.
• Prepare and present monthly and bi-monthly financial reports to management.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to monitor financial performance and cost control.
• Provide tax-related advice and ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations (SST, withholding tax, etc.).
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders on financial matters.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in an events, media, or project-based industry.
• Strong understanding of project accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or similar).
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
