Job Description: Senior Client Manager (Special Relations)

We are a leading company specializing in providing innovative digital marketing solutions and services to government entities, government agencies, and government-linked companies (GLCs). As a Senior Client Manager (Special Relations), you will be a key player in establishing and nurturing relationships with our government clients to drive strategic growth and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with government clients, government agencies, and GLCs. Serve as the primary point of contact, understanding their unique needs, objectives, and challenges. Regularly engage with clients to identify opportunities, address concerns, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic account plans aligned with government clients' goals. Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling of our products and services. Continuously monitor government policies, market trends, and industry developments to drive account development.

Solution Delivery: Work closely with internal teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet government clients' requirements. Coordinate with project managers, technical experts, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects. Monitor service quality and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project implementation.

Government Relations: Foster positive relationships with government stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers. Attend government-related events, forums, and conferences to enhance our company's presence and reputation. Keep abreast of government initiatives and policies to align our offerings with their evolving needs.

Financial Management: Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets. Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

Contract and Agreement Management: Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with legal and finance teams. Ensure contracts comply with government procurement and regulatory requirements. Proactively address contract-related issues, ensuring smooth contract execution.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and support, to drive client success. Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing.

Client Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deliver regular reports to government clients, providing insights on project performance and key metrics. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Industry knowledge and thought leadership: Stay updated on industry trends,best practices and emerging technologies related to the commercial side of media and advertising. Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, industry challenges, and potential areas for growth. Share industry insights and expertise with the team and clients to add value and build credibility.


Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  2. Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Client Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar client-facing role.
  3. Strong understanding of government procurement processes and familiarity with GLCs.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with government stakeholders.
  5. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the government sector.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
  7. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
