This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to play a key role in driving technology strategy, enhancing system capabilities, and supporting business expansion. As an IT Manager, you will be instrumental in leading IT initiatives, strengthening infrastructure, and enabling smarter, data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Act as Technology Evangelist (50%): Engage with functional leaders to gather business needs, translate them into IT solutions, benchmark and recommend cutting-edge technologies 
• Research, select, and manage vendors/solution providers for smooth implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of systems and software 
•  Lead end-to-end IT projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting user requirements and business objectives 
•  Oversee Local MIS Support (50%): Plan, manage, and support the entire Management Information System (MIS), IT infrastructure, networks, servers, backups, storage, and disaster recovery with minimal downtime 
•  Develop and enforce IT policies, best practices, security standards, and governance across the organization 
•  Troubleshoot critical issues, ensure system availability, and implement proactive monitoring and recovery processes 
•  Lead, mentor, and provide clear direction to the IT team while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Job Requirements

 Preferred Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
•  Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS) are highly advantageous 
•  Minimum 8–10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/leadership role
•  Proven track record in digital transformation and system modernization in manufacturing, retail, or the food industry preferred 
•  Hands-on experience implementing and managing ERP systems, cloud solutions, and infrastructure projects
•  Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments 
•  Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, cloud, security, backup & DR) 
•  Expertise in system integration, software deployment, and project management 
•  Proficient with ERP/MIS systems, Windows/Linux environments, and cybersecurity best practices
•  Familiar with process improvement methodologies (ITIL, Agile, DevOps)
•  Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders 
•  Strong stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills 
•  Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage 
•  Strategic thinker who is also hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves when needed 
•  Able to thrive in ambiguity, make quick decisions, and work under pressure 
•  High integrity, proactive, and committed to delivering results 
•  Passionate about using technology to make affordable, nutritious food accessible to all 
•  Willing to be on-call and work beyond regular hours when required
