Job Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead and manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that each project meets client expectations, design standards, and deadlines. This role involves overseeing design teams, developing innovative and functional designs, and ensuring that designs are within budget and align with the client’s vision. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver exceptional interior spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process for high-profile projects, ensuring creative vision and design excellence.
  • Develop and present design proposals, mood boards, sketches, and 3D models to clients.
  • Oversee the selection of materials, furniture, finishes, and color schemes, ensuring they meet client specifications and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers and support staff, ensuring their development and success.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Create detailed design documentation, including floor plans, specifications, and installation drawings.
  • Stay current with design trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to projects.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure designs are being implemented according to plans and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing expertise in both residential and commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of interior design principles, trends, and techniques.
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Coohoom, 3D Max, Corona/V-ray and related design software
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present design ideas clearly to clients and team members.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Knowledge of building materials, regulations, and renovation practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
