The Clinic Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing essential administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional patient service from check-in to check-out, assisting medical staff with basic patient care, and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment. The ideal candidate is a multitasker with excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Administrative and front-office duties</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.</li>
<li>Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.</li>
<li>Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and medical histories.</li>
<li>Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.</li>
<li>Answer calls and respond to inquiries.</li>
<li>Handle patient paperwork, forms, and medical records.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory of office and waiting room supplies.</li>
</ul>

<li>Clinical support duties</li>
</ol>
<ul>
<li>Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the provider.</li>
<li>Record and document basic patient vital signs.</li>
<li>Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures as directed.</li>
<li>Prepare and clean examination rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed.</li>
<li>Manage clinical supply inventory and place orders as needed.</li>
<li>Handle lab specimens, complete lab forms, and arrange for specimen pick-up.</li>
</ul>
