Job Description
About The Role
We are looking for a creative and skilled Junior / Senior Videographer Cum Editor to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who passion in video shooting, short video creation, and turning raw footage into engaging videos that capture attention and drive results.
You will gain hands-on experience working on social media campaigns, short videos, and digital marketing projects for real brands across different industries including B2B, factories, retails and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production
- Plan and execute professional video shoots for marketing campaigns, corporate content, events, and social media
- Handle camera operation including framing, lighting setup, and audio recording
- Ensure video quality meets brand and platform standards
- Assist in setting up shooting equipment including camera, lighting, and basic audio gear
Video Editing
- Edit short videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and XiaoHongShu
- Transform raw footage into engaging content with subtitles, transitions, effects, background music, and graphics
- Ensure videos follow current social media trends and platform best practices
- Work closely with the marketing team to align videos with campaign objectives
Content Support
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative video ideas and shooting concepts
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new content angles
- Support in organizing video assets and maintaining proper file management
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet deadlines
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Film, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in videography and video editing (Fresh graduates with strong portfolio are encouraged to apply)
- Able to communicate and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
- Strong understanding of camera operation, framing, lighting, and basic audio setup
- Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing software
- Good understanding of short video structure and social media trends
- Able to shoot and edit independently with minimal supervision
- Strong creative sense with good visual storytelling skills and attention to detail
- Good time management skills and able to handle multiple projects within deadlines
- Possess own transport for content shooting
- Must have own laptop of handling video editing work
- Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn and grow
