About the Internship

We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment where you'll have the opportunity to work on real projects and develop your design skills.

Note: Mandarin proficiency (written and spoken) is required as this role involves creating graphic content with Chinese text for Mandarin-speaking audiences and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content
• Support the design team in creating visual assets such as banners, posters, flyers, brochures, and infographics
• Help with photo editing, retouching, and basic content creation
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas
• Learn and apply brand guidelines across various design projects
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas
• Assist with ad-hoc design tasks as needed

Requirements

Essential:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or related field
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or design tools like Canva
• Understanding of basic design principles, typography, and color theory
• Mandarin proficiency (written and spoken) - must be able to read, write, and design with Chinese text
• A portfolio or sample work showcasing your design projects (academic projects or personal work are welcome)
• Eager to learn and open to feedback
• Good attitude and willingness to collaborate

Preferred:

• Familiarity with InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut
• Active on social media and aware of current design trends
• Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Interest in branding, digital marketing, or content creation
