Lotte Ube Synthetic Rubber Sdn Bhd – proudly Malaysia’s first manufacturer of Synthetic Rubber (butadiene rubber) in Malaysia. The Company is a joint venture among the established multi-national corporations (i.e. Lotte Chemical Corporation of South Korea and Ube Industries Ltd. of Japan)
Lotte Ube Synthetic Rubber Sdn Bhd commenced construction of its first facility in Malaysia since 2012 and today Lotte Ube Synthetic Rubber Sdn Bhd has a capacity to produced polybutadiene 50,000 tons / year and will expand to 72,000 tons / year in the future.
Lotte Ube Synthetic Rubber is the best available substitute for natural rubber with very high demand from various downstream applications such as in tires manufacturing industries, high impact polystyrene (HIPS), shoes, automotive and other related industries. Asia is the biggest market for Synthetic Rubber and its demand is expected continue growing in future.
Lotte Chemical Corporation with two butadiene plants in South Korea (Daesan and Yeosu) and Lotte Chemical Titan in Malaysia, is having an annual production capacity of 400,000 tones annually. Whilst Ube Industries Ltd maintain a global production of synthetic rubber via its existing plants in Japan, China and Thailand with overall annual capacity of 436,000 tones.

<li>To maintain, install and trouble –shoot of electrical system, wiring system, air-condition system, building, plant, machinery and equipment.</li>
<li>To carry out preventive maintenance work for machines and equipment as scheduled.</li>
<li>To ensure installation and equipment is maintained effectively and comply with Energy Commission requirement.</li>
<li>To maintain good workplace organization and housekeeping.</li>
<li>Able to work on call duty after working hours.</li>
<li>Able to work independently and meet deadlines.</li>
</ul>
