Job Description

• Assist and support the Facilities Manager in managing engineering operations at a mission-critical Data Center facility.
• Coordinate and manage service providers and vendors to ensure compliance with operational requirements and SLAs.
• Plan and execute service schedules in accordance with OEM recommendations for critical systems (e.g., UPS, CRAC, chillers, generators).
• Proactively resolve technical issues with minimal escalation, ensuring uptime and reliability.
• Supervise and ensure effective operation of engineering services including electrical, mechanical, ELV, and fire protection systems.
• Oversee shift teams and external contractors, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and statutory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate site logs, activity records, and asset registers.
• Report change requests, incidents, and project work to the Facilities Manager.
• Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs for all MEPF systems.
• Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., BOMBA, ST, DOE) relevant to Data Center

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and respond effectively to emergencies.

Education / Equivalent Experiences

• Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E operations, preferably within Data Center or other critical facilities.
• Familiarity with Data Center systems and terminology (e.g., CRAC, UPS, TX, ACMV, CDA).
• Knowledge of Malaysian statutory and regulatory requirements related to facilities management.
• Proficient in Mandarin language.
