Job Description

The Front of House Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments, and maintaining a clean dining area. The staff member should be friendly, attentive, and able to work efficiently during busy service periods.

Customer Service

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Ensure customers have a pleasant dining experience.

Order Taking & Serving

• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Check on customers during their meals and provide assistance when needed.

Cash Handling & Payments

• Process customer payments including cash, card, or other payment methods.
• Ensure billing is accurate before presenting to customers.

Dining Area Maintenance

• Set up and clear tables before and after customers dine.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Assist with cleaning duties such as wiping tables, sweeping floors, and restocking supplies.

Team Support

• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with basic restaurant duties when required.
• Support overall restaurant operations during busy periods.
