PADINI began as a backend operation in Malaysia’s apparel industry, manufacturing, trading and supplying garments to order for retailers and distributors. Today, Padini has become a brand leader in the distribution and retailing of its own fashion labels through 330 freestanding stores, franchises and consignment counters. Padini has also proudly carried the Made­in­Malaysia stamp abroad, with its products exports to Thailand, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, Egypt, Oman, UAE and Indonesia.

<div><strong>The Position<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>Ensure timely and accurate payroll administration (salaries, OT, allowances, commission, incentives, etc);</li><li>Perform through payroll checking in order to ensure accurate salary (OT, allowance, commission, incentive, etc) and statutory payment;</li><li>Ensure accuracy of various payroll records/reports submitted internally (to finance department) and externally (to statutory bodies), and adjustment (if any);</li><li>Ensure an efficient, precise and updated staff database (both in system and hardcopy), and keep such data confidential;</li><li>Plan and implement projects and programs which will increase and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll system;</li><li>Ensure/determine appropriate compensation, pay grades and titles for new and existing positions, and ensure adherence to Padini guideline and pay structure;</li><li>Manage compensation and benefits programs and ensure the granting of all compensation and benefits are done in a fair and equitable manner;</li><li>Ensure continuous updates on compensation and benefits provided by our competitors and other related industries;</li><li>Coordinate with the Department Head to conduct employee performance appraisal;</li><li>Plan and control the documents within the division to ensure standardization and uniformity;</li><li>Continuously review and update existing forms and documentation within the division;</li><li>Participate in compensation and benefits related survey;</li><li>Conduct payroll audit and HR audit;</li><li>Prepare yearly HR budget and plan;</li><li>Prepare compensation &amp; benefits related reports/analysis as required by management and statutory;</li><li>Provide competent advices to head of departments on compensation and benefits related issues, and ensure smooth operations of Compensation &amp; Benefits Division;</li><li>Ensure the divisions reaches goals and HRT KPI’s;</li><li>Address all employee inquiries and/or grievances especially those related to division/department in a quickly and professional manner.</li></ul><div><br></div>
