Job Description

• Perform civil design analysis and calculations according to project requirements;
• Review project civil and infrastructure plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints;
• Prepare all related design calculation and documentation required for infrastructure design submission to local authorities;
• Assist in the preparation of civil and infrastructure construction drawings;
• Coordinate with clients, other project consultants, contractors and local authorities;
• Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands;
• To provide Structural and Foundation Engineering Design on various types of projects inclusive commercial buildings, offices, mixed-use development projects, warehouses, and so on;
• To be competent in designing in reinforced concrete and steel according to the BS or Euro Code and to provide structural design report and construction drawings;
• May need to visit sites to address design-related issues, carry out site inspections and monitors quality control to ensure that the contractor met the standard of construction with compliance to approved construction drawings

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering;
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Design Engineer or in related field;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients;
• Operating knowledge and working experience in PROTA is an added advantage;
• Able to write letter and report, prepare design calculations, design report and documentation or presentation if required by client;
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Added Advantages:

• Operating knowledge and working experience in ETABS, ESTEEM, RAM, STRUCTURE, AUTOCAD, MS OFFICE and MS PROJECT;
• Geotechnical and Foundation design experiences including the use of PLAXIS software.
