Job Description

  

  1. Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance
  •  Carry out routine maintenance and basic repair work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems.
  •  Conduct daily checks to ensure all building equipment and facilities are operating properly.
  •  Assist in preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns.

2. Repair Work & Troubleshooting

  •  Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and internal departments.
  •  Assist in diagnosing and resolving common issues such as electrical trips, water leaks, air-conditioning problems, and facility defects.
  •  Perform minor repair work including painting, carpentry, fixture replacement, and general upkeep tasks.

3. Safety & Compliance

  •  Comply with all safety guidelines, fire safety requirements, and building maintenance standards.
  •  Support emergency repair activities when breakdowns occur.
  •  Help maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and service documentation.

4. Vendor & Contractor Support

  •  Assist in monitoring and supporting contractors performing specialized services (e.g., lift specialists, fire system contractors).
  •  Ensure contractors follow safety rules and complete work according to required standards.
  •  Support renovation or repair projects with basic technical assistance.

5. Facilities Support & General Upkeep

  •  Ensure public areas such as office corridors, F&B outlets, walkways, street lighting, and rest areas remain in proper working condition.
  •  Assist with minor tasks related to workers’ accommodation and facility upkeep.

6. Communication & Coordination

  •  Communicate with tenants, customers, and property management teams regarding maintenance issues.
  •  Report building defects and abnormal conditions promptly to the supervisor or manager.

Job Requirements

  •  Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Building Maintenance, Building Services, or a related technical field.
  •  Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training will be provided.
  •  Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance (advantage but not mandatory).
  •  Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
  •  Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving mindset.
  •  Physically fit and able to perform hands-on technical work
