At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.Responsibilities
Tax Compliance - Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax and other applicable taxes to the tax authorities.
Tax Planning - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and manage risks.
Advisory - Provide expert advice on tax implications for business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.
Reporting - Prepare and review tax provision calculations for financial statements and ensure proper accounting for all tax-related items.
Regulatory Monitoring - Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess the impact on the company’s tax position.
Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or professional qualification.
2-5 years of experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
Strong academic background.

Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
