Job Description

YOUR ROLE

As a Creative Copywriter, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, writing prowess, and marketing expertise. You'll be an integral part of our creative team and play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and engaging content across various channels.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation: Assist in conceptualising, writing, editing, and proofreading content across various formats including scripts, advertising copy, social media content, digital campaigns, and other marketing materials.
  • Idea Generation: Support the creative team in developing original ideas, themes, and concepts for campaigns and storytelling.
  • Audience Understanding: Learn to analyze target audiences and adapt writing style, tone, and messaging to suit different demographics and objectives.
  • Research: Conduct basic research to gather relevant information and ensure content accuracy and authenticity.
  • Editing and Revising: Review and refine copy based on feedback to improve clarity, tone, and overall quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, creatives, and other team members to develop integrated campaign content.
  • Adaptation: Assist in adapting copy across different media platforms including print, digital, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends, creative writing techniques, and content marketing practices.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Support the team in delivering assigned tasks within project timelines.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Linguistics (English), Advertising, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, or a related creative role (agency experience is a plus).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with good grammar, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.
  • Demonstrated creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and digital content practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with common writing, editing, and collaboration tools.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1–3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or content creation.
  • Exposure to TTL (Through-The-Line) campaigns is a plus.
  • Ability to contribute ideas for film, print, digital, social media, and experiential campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow creatively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and openness to feedback.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also managing assigned tasks independently.
  • Relevant coursework, internship, or certification in Copywriting, Advertising, or Communications is an advantage.
