About the Job
As our Accounts Associate, you will support accounts receivable accounting and reporting, including the implementation of policies, processes and internal controls to ensure governance over the Accounts Receivable functions.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources</li>
<li>Support the implementation of accounts receivable and credit policies, processes and internal controls to ensure governance over the Accounts Receivable function</li>
<li>Reviewing calculation of invoicing to client and check the accuracy of the same.</li>
<li>Ensuring completeness in documentation in terms of Client agreement , Purchase order etc are in place for all the customers</li>
<li>Record all accounts receivable and collection transactions to ensure timely and accurate monthly and yearly accounts receivable closing. Prepare debtors aging and reconcile receipts against invoices/aging</li>
<li>Follow up on payments due, solve basic disputes and provide clarifications to debtors to ensure timely collections</li>
<li>Send debtors' confirmations and confirm intercompany balances with the relevant countries for month-end closing purposes</li>
<li>Provide administrative support in the preparation of the monthly accounts receivable status reports, collection status and receivables analysis (e.g. days sales outstanding, receivables turnover, etc.) for accountability purposes</li>
<li>Respond to basic queries and clarifications to internal stakeholders on debtors' outstanding balances, collections, etc.</li>
<li>Work closely with internal stakeholders in monitoring receivables (e.g. days sales outstanding, receivables turnover,etc.) and resolving customer payment issues</li>
<li>Work closely with customers on collections and reconciliation of balances to ensure accurate and timely recovery of payments</li>
<li>Conduct new customers' financial background and reference checks to verify creditworthiness. Present findings to superior for decision-making</li>
<li>Check customers/intercompany payments due against assigned credit limit/credit policy. Follow-up on payments to recover debts and highlight issues on debt recovery</li>
<li>Support the continuous improvement initiatives to streamline existing accounts receivable processes and improve efficiencies through a better utilization of automated systems</li>
<li>Assisting Finance manager with monthly closing, passing of necessary Journals , assisting in finalisation of Audit and monthly closing etc.</li>
</ul>
