Job Description

 Key Responsibilities

  1. Audit Engagement & Delivery 
  • Lead the planning, risk assessment, and execution of audit engagements across a portfolio of clients. 
  • Develop tailored audit strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives. 
  • Monitor engagement progress to ensure timely delivery within budget. 
  • Review audit documentation, financial statements, and working papers to ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and relevant financial reporting standards.
  • Identify audit issues early and propose practical, risk-based solutions. 

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and inspire Audit Seniors and Associates to achieve engagement objectives. 
  • Provide real-time feedback and conduct structured performance evaluations. 
  • Facilitate technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions within the team. 
  • Promote professional skepticism, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

3. Client Management & Advisory

  • Serve as a key liaison between the firm and client management. 
  • Communicate audit findings clearly and professionally to stakeholders. 
  • Provide constructive insights on internal controls, risk management, and process enhancements. 
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to client retention strategies. 

Job Requirements

Education & Professional Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA (completed or in progress preferred). 
  • Experience 4–6 years of relevant audit experience (external or internal audit environment). 
  • Prior experience supervising small teams or leading engagements is an advantage. 
  • Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of ISA and local financial reporting standards. 
  • Solid understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and financial analysis. 
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
