The Market Recce Associate is responsible for conducting on-ground and desk-based market reconnaissance to gather actionable insights on market conditions, competitors, customer behaviour, pricing, site viability, and demand patterns. The role supports business development, strategy, and investment decisions through accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Market &amp; Field Research
<ul>
<li>Conduct site visits (recce) to assess locations, facilities, vehicle volume, accessibility, usage patterns, and compliance conditions.</li>
<li>Observe and document drivers market behaviour, operational practices, and customer interactions.</li>
<li>Capture car park plan, photos, videos, maps, and notes for analysis and reporting.</li>
</ul>
2️⃣ Data Collection &amp; Analysis
<ul>
<li>Collect primary data (field observations, surveys, interviews).</li>
<li>Compile secondary research (industry reports, public data, competitor intelligence).</li>
<li>Conduct vehicle survey and due diligence. Analyse findings to identify:</li>
<ul>
<li>Market demand</li>
<li>Revenue opportunities</li>
<li>Gaps and risks</li>
<li>Competitive positioning</li>
</ul>

3️⃣ Competitor &amp; Benchmarking Analysis
<ul>
<li>Monitor competitor offerings, pricing models, service quality, and technology adoption.</li>
<li>Benchmark market practices against best-in-class or comparable locations.</li>
</ul>
4️⃣ Reporting &amp; Insights
<ul>
<li>Prepare clear, structured reports, presentations, and dashboards.</li>
<li>Translate raw data into business-ready insights and recommendations.</li>
<li>Support feasibility studies, business cases, and BD proposals.</li>
</ul>
5️⃣ Stakeholder Support
<ul>
<li>Support Business Development, Strategy, or Project teams with:</li>
<ul>
<li>Market intelligence</li>
<li>Pitch materials</li>
<li>Decision support data</li>
</ul>
<li>Liaise with internal teams, partners, and sometimes local authorities or operators during field work.</li>
