Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Sales Executive with at least 1 year of experience in the FMCG or personal care industry to support Applecrumby’s regional expansion and product diversification efforts. Responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding distribution, and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and key customers. The role focuses on driving sales growth, executing trade activities, and ensuring excellent in-store execution ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets as assigned
  • Drive sales growth through effective coverage and customer engagement
  • Execute sales plans and promotions to increase volume and market share

    Distribution & Coverage
  • Expand numeric distribution by opening new retail accounts
  • Ensure existing outlets are consistently serviced and well covered
  • Monitor and improve product availability in all assigned outlets

    Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and key accounts
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and basic complaints professionally
  • Negotiate product listings, promotions, and display opportunities

    Merchandising & Execution
  • Ensure correct product placement, pricing, and visibility in-store
  • Work closely with promoters or merchandisers to ensure planogram compliance
  • Support in-store activities, roadshows, and retailer events when requires

    Reporting & Administration
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and key accounts
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and basic complaints professionally
  • Negotiate product listings, promotions, and display opportunities

    Teamwork & Communication 
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth execution
  • Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years of sales experience (FMCG or retail preferred)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently
  • Willing to travel and work in the assigned territory
  • Possess own transport (if applicable)
