Job Description

• Responsible for creation of CAD drawings for projects
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings for steel structures and building projects using CAD software.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to produce fabrication and construction-ready drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with design specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to resolve design issues.
• Review and update existing drawings and documentation as needed.
• Mentor junior draughtsmen and provide guidance on best practices.
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material specifications and construction feasibility.
• Operate computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, drawings, charts, and records.
• Ability to design using computer-aided design (CAD) software and draw drafts using free hand.
• Work closely with engineers and designers to get the conceptual design and understanding of drawing specifications then develop detailed design drawings and revise drawing using CAD.
• Coordinate the collection of data and incorporate this information into drawings.
• Obtain and assemble data to complete civil designs and measurements as necessary
• Prepare technical work drawings, tender, constructions and detailed drawings respectively.
• Prepare proposed/construction/shop/as-built drawings for authority submission and presentation to client.
• Consult or assist the engineers to carry out all production drawings.
• Produce all drafting services and all relevant tasks for completing concept and detailed drafting of civil engineering, commercial building and assigned projects
• Review and interpret accurately as per client specifications
• Provide timely, accurate, and complete documentation that meets required project standards
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of telecommunications, infrastructural, design, structural, mechanical, and electrical materials and methods commonly used in commercial construction
• Determine procedures and instruction to be followed, according to design specifications and quality of required materials

Job Requirements

 i) Qualification

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Diploma/Professional Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
