Job Description This position is responsible for managing procurement activities for the retail pharmacy operations, which includes sourcing, negotiating, and procuring a wide range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to meet our business needs while ensuring cost efficiency and product quality. Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products. Sourcing pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services while optimizing costs and quality. Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with suppliers. Coordinates procurement operations and inventory management to ensure critical drug availability, accurate inventory value assessment, optimized inventory turns, and minimized drug expirations. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock level, inventory value assessment, minimize wastage and prevent stockouts. Analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency. Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and insights. Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends, marketing conditions, business opportunities and product innovations to make informed procurement decisions. Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or any relevant field. Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in procurement, preferable within the retail pharmacy or healthcare industry. Effective negotiation and contract management skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost analyses. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal & written). Familiarity with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical procurement. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
