Your Key Responsibilities:


  1. Implement and Maintain QESH System: Ensure the Company's QESH System complies with relevant statutory requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, international standards, local regulations, codes of practice, legal requirements and company procedures.
  2. Promote QESH Awareness: Continuously promote awareness of Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health (QESH) procedures and practices throughout the organization, ensuring adherence by all staff.
  3. Review and Manage Documentation: Review and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Knowledge Management (KM). Facilitate organization-wide process reviews. Assist in managing and ensuring the proper upkeep of QESH documentation/data/records (e.g., internal audits, monitoring, etc.).
  4. Internal Audits: Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting internal audits. Provide thorough internal audit reports, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to QESH non-conformance matters, and follow up on corrective actions.
  5. Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with QESH standards during construction.
  6. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., SIRIM) and other internal/external stakeholders regarding QESH matters.
  7. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyse data related to QESH performance, report to management (e.g., Management Review Meeting), identify trends and recommend areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  8. Additional Duties: Undertake any other QESH-related duties as delegated by the QESH Manager or any other representative assigned by management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you are likely to posses:


Qualifications

  • Degree in Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent

 

Experience

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in the Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health (QESH) management system implementation.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits.

 

Technical Skills

  • Computer literate, i.e. Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess knowledge in applicable legal and other required environmental aspect impact and schedule waste management.
  • Knowledgeable in Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QESH) system, including ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 standards.
  • Knowledge of QLASSIC will be an advantage.
