Job Purpose: - Assist to propose and implement various tax strategies and planning to ensure optimal tax savings, through identifying tax inefficiency/opportunity, performing tax analysis and providing recommendations. - Assist to provide tax advisory services and support to Business Unit on tax related matters such as corporate tax, sales and services tax, transfer pricing etc. - Provide tax compliance services for Sunway Group of companies – including preparation/review/submission of tax returns and tax estimates. - Oversee and expedite tax credit set off and tax refunds from IRB, where necessary. - Keep abreast with the latest tax development and identify potential tax implications to the Group. - Establish and maintain productive and cooperative relationship with peers who are responsible for Finance and Accounting functions within the Group and external parties. - Liaison with external tax consultant and tax authority.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: - Degree in Accounting and Finance or ACCA - Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in a tax/accounting firm and/or corporate tax department of large corporations. - High problem-solving skill with critical thinking mindset. - Highly-motivated individual who is passionate in providing value-added services to the group companies - Able to work independently with minimal supervision - Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
