• Understanding clients’ brief and creating original web copy and content.
• Brainstorming creative ideas for web content and branding as well as effective communication strategies.
• Research, development curation & consolidation of articles based on breaking news and current events
• Creating attractive headlines for the content and social team, serving our extensive list of clients.
• Initiating ideas that may be developed into workable concepts and presenting them to the director and team.
• Getting familiar with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market.
• Creating content and writing publicity materials for various social media platforms. 
• Write stories that will meet the objectives of a brand and the expectations of the audience.
• Rewriting or editing existing copy for ongoing digital projects.
• Keeping up with the latest advertising trends and techniques as well as new developments happenings in the digital industry.
• Able to implement digital storytelling techniques and apply SEO and keyword analysis. 

Job Requirements

• A writer with at least 3 years of experience producing content for the Higher Education industry in Malaysia. 
• The ideal candidate would have basic knowledge of the education system in Malaysia and the pathways available to school-leavers after SPM. He/she would also have basic design skills (Canva). 
  
  

• Preferably a writer with at least 1 year of experience producing content for the Education industry in Malaysia specifically on Private and/or International Schools. 
• Previously attended private/international school would be an added advantage.
• The ideal candidate would also have basic design skills (Canva).  

• Candidate must possess an impeccable command of English. 
• Equipped with an Agency or Media background is ideal. 
• Ability to write in a wide range of tone and manner according to the client’s industry. 
• Able to work hand-in-hand with our project managers, designers, and developers.
• Work closely with several internal teams to achieve the best outcome for our advertisers and audience.
• Adapting your writing style in terms of manner and tone, to suit various industries.
• Passionate about writing and creating engaging content. 
• Has a nose for news and a strong ability to build organic client narratives from a brief. 
• Generate content ideas for brands while keeping up to date with content trends. 
• Knowledgeable in digital storytelling techniques, SEO, and keyword analysis. 
• An understanding of the relationship between content and social platforms to build an audience for your stories.   
• Must be resourceful and able to work both independently and within a team. 
• Able to deliver copy that is engaging, accurate, and publish-perfect in a timely manner.
