Role Purpose

This role is the Builder: you will help scale our online operations by improving how we list products, manage stock, and fulfil orders. You will work directly with marketing, warehousing, and customer care to maintain listing quality, reduce stock issues, and speed up order handling. Your day-to-day will include listing updates, inventory checks, basic reporting, and small process improvements to lift overall shop performance.

• Develop hands-on marketplace experience by managing live product listings and learning seller centre tools for platforms like Shopee and Lazada.
• Strengthen analytical skills by tracking sales, stockouts, and fulfilment metrics to help the team make smarter operational choices.
• Expand your cross-functional network by coordinating with marketing, suppliers, and couriers to see how each step affects customer satisfaction.
• Build process ownership by documenting workflows, creating checklists, and suggesting small changes that save time and reduce mistakes.
• Improve customer-facing confidence through occasional order coordination and returns handling so you understand how operations shape the customer experience.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Marketplace Management

• Maintain and update live product listings on platforms like Shopee and Lazada with clear titles, descriptions and brand-compliant images.
• Apply price updates and promotion settings during campaigns to keep listings accurate and eligible for deals.
• Work with marketing to add SEO-friendly keywords and improve listing discoverability and conversion.
• Monitor listing health and flag content or policy issues to reduce listing errors and returns.

Operations & Fulfilment

• Process daily orders, prepare packing slips and coordinate handover to courier partners to meet SLA targets.
• Perform routine inventory counts, reconcile stock discrepancies and update system SKUs to keep levels accurate.
• Handle returns and exchanges, liaise with customer care and suppliers to close order issues quickly.
• Support new product onboarding by creating SKUs, uploading images and confirming listing readiness.

Data & Process Improvement

• Collect and maintain simple sales, stockout and fulfilment reports to highlight operational bottlenecks.
• Document standard operating procedures and maintain checklists so routine tasks run reliably.
• Suggest small process changes that save time or reduce mistakes and help implement them with the team.
• Support seasonal readiness checks and ad-hoc projects to keep the shop campaign-ready.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Fresh graduates or current students with little to no formal work experience who are eager to learn on the job.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts such as listings, SKUs and order flow through coursework or personal projects.
• Availability to work full-time for the internship period and adapt to operational schedules as needed.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with marketplace platforms and a willingness to learn platform-specific seller centres like Shopee and Lazada.
• Comfortable using MS Excel or Google Sheets for simple tracking, basic formulas and small reports.
• Experience or quick aptitude for content entry, image uploads and basic CMS tasks.
• Basic data recording and reporting ability to produce daily or weekly status updates for the team.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Strong attention to detail so listings, prices and stock levels remain accurate and reliable.
• Clear verbal and written communication to coordinate with suppliers, couriers and internal teams.
• Positive, curious attitude and openness to feedback while you improve processes and skills.
• Good time management and organisation to balance repeating operational tasks and short-term projects.
