Unilah Sdn Bhd is a youth-focused marketing and campus activation company that connects brands with university students across Malaysia through social media content, campus activations, and creator-driven campaigns.

We’re looking for a Content & Video Editing Intern who enjoys creating content for Gen Z audiences, especially university students aged 18–25. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in editing, content production, and digital storytelling.

As part of the team, you’ll gain real exposure to how content is created from concept and filming to editing and publishing, while working on projects such as TikTok videos, podcasts, and interviews.

This internship also comes with opportunities for full-time employment based on performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit short-form social media videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit long-form content including podcasts, interviews, talk shows, and game-show style content.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, youth-focused content through pacing, music, captions, and creative edits.
• Add subtitles, graphics, sound effects, and transitions suitable for social media and digital platforms.
• Assist during on-site shoots, including filming support, lighting setup, and production coordination.
• Help organize footage, manage editing files, and maintain content libraries.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and formats.
• Support the team in producing content campaigns targeting university students.
• Learn the end-to-end production process, from ideation and planning to publishing and performance review.

Job Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is curious, creative, and eager to learn.

• Malaysian candidates only.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Media, Film, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
• Experience with video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools.
• Interest in social media, podcasts, youth culture, and digital content.
• Familiar with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Organized, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to assist during filming and production days.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A portfolio or sample edits will be an advantage.
