Job Description

Responsible for editing social media content: Helping with shooting on-site and in-house projects, editing videos, and brainstorming fresh, engaging ideas.

We're looking for interns who want to gain experience in:

+ creating content for an online publication with content that revolves around startups, entrepreneurs, businesses, tech, and other digital lifestyle topics

+ converting article content into short-form video content for social media 

+ collaborate with the team to produce content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook

+ edit short-form videos efficiently while maintaining quality

+ researching entrepreneurship and tech related topics

+ coming up with the right shareworthy topics, and content angles

Job Requirements

• Studying or qualified in Video Production, Multimedia, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of video production (camera settings, frame composition, storytelling, etc.).
• Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong skills in offline and online video editing.
• Passionate about producing shareworthy quality content and always up for new challenges.
• Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Not afraid to ask questions or voice out any confusion.
• Able to collaborate with the team to grow social media engagement and followers.
• Proactive in exploring new video styles, trends, and creative approaches.
• Familiar with GRVTY Media’s online media brands (Vulcan Post, DiscoverKL, furnished) and able to adapt content creatively.
• Good spoken and written English skills (BM is a plus!).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision to manage your own daily workflow and meet individual and team KPIs.
• Able to travel to our office in Subang Jaya 3 days a week (hybrid work arrangement).
• Thrive in working in a close knit environment and in casual attire.
