Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer Odoo version 8 or above to design, develop, and maintain business applications using the Odoo ERP platform. You will work closely with functional teams to gather requirements, customise modules, and deliver solutions that improve business processes. The ideal candidate has a solid background with Odoo and related system, with strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Odoo 8 modules according to business needs.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, and deployment errors.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo 8 versions and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Odoo development (custom modules, workflows, reports).
- Familiarity with Odoo framework, ORM, and modular development structure.
- Good understanding of business workflows (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Odoo certification(s) is a plus.
- Experience in multi-company, multi-currency Odoo setups is a plus.
