Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for developing CNC milling programs, machine setup, and ensuring parts are produced according to specifications, quality standards, and required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC milling programs (G-code / CAM software).
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
- Set up CNC milling machines, including tooling, fixtures, and materials.
- Perform first article inspection to ensure product quality meets requirements.
- Adjust machining parameters such as feed rate and cutting speed for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure machines are properly maintained and operated in accordance with SOP and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC Programming (Milling).
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC Milling (3-axis / 4-axis).
- Proficient in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Solid understanding of G-code programming and machining strategies.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Good leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking abilities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
