ABOUT OUR COMPANY CULTURE

The Welder at Agroto will perform welding, fabrication, and repair tasks for Agroto’s agricultural machinery, infrastructure, and facility structures. This includes welding for equipment used in farming operations, storage, and production facilities. The role ensures that all welding tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Agroto’s operational and safety standards.
How This Role Will Benefit Agroto:

<li>The Welder will ensure that Agroto’s farm machinery, vehicles, and structures are regularly maintained and repaired, preventing costly downtime and ensuring smooth operations.</li>
<li>The Welder will assist in the fabrication and improvement of Agroto’s infrastructure, including greenhouses and storage areas, ensuring long-lasting and durable facilities.</li>
<li>By carrying out in-house welding and repairs, Agroto can reduce external repair costs and ensure that essential farm and processing equipment is always in optimal working condition.</li>

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding tasks such as cutting, grinding, and joining metals for agricultural machinery, structural steel, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment.</li>
<li>Maintenance and Repair: Repair and maintain farm equipment, tools, and machinery, including farm vehicles, trailers, and metal structures, using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.</li>
<li>Structural Welding: Fabricate, modify, and repair metal structures around Agroto’s facilities, including greenhouses, storage buildings, and equipment platforms.</li>
<li>Equipment and Tool Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and ensure it’s in good working condition. This includes regular checks, repairs, and replacements as needed.</li>
<li>Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute welding and fabrication tasks accurately.</li>
<li>Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of equipment, and adherence to Agroto’s workplace safety standards.</li>
<li>Collaboration with Maintenance Team: Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to identify welding needs and assist in repairs or improvements to Agroto’s infrastructure and machinery.</li>
<li>Quality Control: Ensure that all welding work is performed to high-quality standards, with attention to detail, and meets regulatory and internal specifications.</li>
<li>Project Documentation: Keep accurate records of welding tasks completed, materials used, and any repairs or modifications made to equipment or infrastructure.</li>
<li>Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhere to health and safety protocols, and ensure the safe storage of materials.</li>
</ul>
