Job Description
Responsibility
1. Responsible for fuel efficiency data by making sure data is captured and presented in a simple and easy-to-use format.
2. Continuously drive improvement in fuel savings initiatives and identify fuel efficiency gains.
3. Perform monthly aircraft fuel consumption and analyze deficiencies with the fuel monitoring tool provided.
4. Provide technical support to flight crew and respond to queries raised on flight reports and matters related to aircraft performance, operating minima, and aircraft evaluation.
5. Manage operational documents and operations manual to ensure that operational procedures are always up-to-date and minimize operations disruptions. 6. Provide Airport Obstacles Database updates for use with Electronic Flight Bag applications.
7. Assess the impact on AirAsia operations where there is a change in regulations and operating procedures.
8. Perform route analysis for new destinations in the airlines, including performance analysis and risk assessment.
9. Revise and distribute supplementary documents to the CPO of affected AOCs and all other stakeholders for review if required.
10. Provide relevant technical support to EFB and navigation database.
11. Manage a team of Flight Operations Engineers who provide Flight Operations Technical support to all AOCs.
12. Monitor all the Flight Operations Technical support services which are provided to all AOCs to ensure they are meeting agreed service levels.
13. Identify and introduce new ideas as efficiency projects that could be introduced across the Group.
14. Develop a professional working relationship with the OEM and aircraft manufacturer and OEM partners.
15. Responsible for corrective action implementation within the department resulting from audits.
16. Key caretaker for Group Flight Operations Support Request System.
17. Simplify, automate, and standardize existing processes and functions.
18. Proactively identify innovative strategic development opportunities in the industry to further drive safety and efficiency in Flight Operations.
19. Ensure aircraft induction is successfully completed and ensure the OEM database is readily available.
20. to provide support and oversight for CORSIA related matters for flight operations, including the but not limited to: Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) of carbon emissions annually to ensure regulatory compliance with CAAM and ICAO regulations;
21 act as the liaison to ensure the carbon offsetting and/or monitor the carbon offset program, as per CORSIA requirements to align the operational strategies with environmental goals;
22. assist and provide necessary information from the flight operations team to AirAsia Group Sustainability to support the Sustainability goals and sustainable operations strategies recommendations and ensure compliance with Sustainability Reporting requirements; and
23. monitor developments in the best practices for fuel efficiency and provide regular updates to the management with regulatory changes and industry best practices/recommendations.
