The Builder As a Fraud & Dispute Intern you'll help build reliable triage and case workflows that scale with our growth. You'll create clear investigation notes and repeatable checks that reduce errors and speed up resolutions.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Investigation & Resolution

• Review incoming dispute cases, collect evidence from transaction records and user reports, then recommend outcomes aligned with policy.
• Write clear, concise case notes and prepare documentation for chargeback responses and internal reviews.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor alerts and transaction patterns to identify suspicious activity and escalate high-risk cases to senior reviewers.
• Maintain simple trackers and deliver periodic summaries to show case volumes, trends, and outstanding actions.

Process Support & Collaboration

• Help refine dispute workflows and suggest practical improvements to reduce handling time.
• Work with customer support, payments, and product teams to collect information and close cases efficiently.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Open to internships with availability to commit to regular working hours for the duration of the placement.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of payments, chargebacks, or online fraud concepts.
• Comfortable with Excel for data filtering and basic analysis; familiarity with SQL or analytics tools is a plus.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Strong attention to detail and integrity when handling sensitive customer information.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work cooperatively in a small team.
