In 1996, Hai-O achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first traditional healthcare company to be listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. What began with modest initial capital has matured over the years, demonstrating resilience in the face of diverse business challenges, and culminating in an equity base exceeding RM300 million. This journey has been punctuated by numerous prestigious accolades, including the Forbes Awards (2007-2010). As of November 29, 2021, Hai-O's listing status transitioned to Beshom Holdings Berhad ("BESHOM").
BESHOM's core activities encompass wholesale and retail operations, multi-level marketing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and Chinese medicinal clinics. Throughout four decades, Hai-O has meticulously refined its proficiency in developing an expansive and efficient distribution network, a feat that has secured its position as a market leader in Malaysia. Our footprint spans the nation, encompassing 55 retail chain outlets and franchises, 32 Multi-Level-Marketing ("MLM") branches, sales points and stockists, in addition to two GMP manufacturing plants strategically situated across Malaysia.
Peking Tongrentang (M) Sdn Bhd, a collaborative venture between the globally esteemed Beijing Tongrentang and Hai-O, has been actively serving Kuala Lumpur since 2002. Remarkably, this joint venture has excelled in offering TCM consultation services and premium-quality herbal medicines to the public, contributing to our legacy of excellence.
