As a Finance & Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating investment opportunities, conducting research, and providing insights to support investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on financial markets, industries, and specific companies to identify investment opportunities. Researching financial markets, analysing investment options.
• Financial Analysis: Evaluate the financial health of companies by reviewing financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assess key financial ratios and metrics to gauge performance.
• Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, including valuation, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on potential investments, including company financials, management teams, and competitive positioning.
• Risk Assessment: Analyse the risk associated with potential investments, considering factors like market volatility, credit risk, and geopolitical events.
• Investment Recommendations: Provide investment recommendations based on research findings, financial analysis, and risk assessments. Present investment proposals to clients or senior management.
• Portfolio Sourcing and Management: Outreach and screen new, relevant, and exciting startups for investment purposes and assist in the management of client portfolios.
• Reporting: Prepare pitch deck, business valuation and financial report for clients.
• Client Communication: Collaborate with client service team and communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to clients, providing clear and concise information and reports.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all investment activities.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of working experience with consulting, investment or audit firm.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, investment, economics, business, or a related field.
• A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management is a plus.
