Job Description

 Responsibilities:

• Network Support: 
• Assist in the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Participate in network monitoring and performance analysis.
• Help with cloud and physical network infrastructure tasks.
• Assist in documenting network configurations and procedures.
• Provide basic network troubleshooting support to end-users under supervision.

• Security Support: 
• Assist in monitoring security alerts and logs for potential security incidents.
• Participate in vulnerability scanning and security assessments.
• Learn about and assist with the implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Help with the deployment and maintenance of security tools (e.g., antivirus, intrusion detection systems).
• Assist in security awareness training initiatives.
• Contribute to the documentation of security incidents and response.

• Learning and Development: 
• Actively learn about networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and technologies.
• Develop an understanding of security principles, threats, and best practices.
• Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Take initiative to research and learn new technologies and concepts relevant to the role.

• General Tasks: 
• Assist with IT-related projects as assigned.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication skills.

Job Requirements

 Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in networking and cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, OSI model).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
