Job Description

Overall : Supporting kitchen operations by preparing ingredients (washing, chopping), cooking simple dishes, maintaining cleanliness (dishes, surfaces, floors), managing stock/inventory, and ensuring food safety, all while working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, reporting to a chef or manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Prep: Wash, chop, shred, measure ingredients; prepare salads, sauces, or other simple items.
• Cooking: Assist cooks with basic cooking tasks and follow recipes/portion guidelines.
• Cleaning: Wash dishes/utensils, sanitize work stations, mop floors, take out trash.
• Hygiene: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Inventory: Receive deliveries, store supplies properly, rotate stock, and restock stations.
• Team Support: Help chefs during busy periods, plate food, and assist with customer needs (like packing leftovers).
