Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, texture, and presentation
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols
• Practice proper personal hygiene and uniform compliance at all times
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO)
• Monitor ingredient usage to minimize wastage and control food cost
• Assist in receiving and inspecting supplier deliveries
• Support inventory counts and report discrepancies or shortages
• Execute daily kitchen opening and closing procedures according to SOP
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstations before, during, and after shifts
• Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with kitchen and service teams
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns promptly
• Participate in training and skill development programs to improve efficiency and performance

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent
• Food Handler Certificate (mandatory or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience in café, restaurant, or commercial kitchen preferred
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willing to work in a structured, SOP-driven operational environment
