<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p><em>W</em>e are seeking a motivated and experienced Collection Officer to join our team at Capbay. As a Collection Officer, you will play a crucial role in our collections department, responsible for recovering outstanding payments and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and paymasters.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Contacting customers to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate repayment plans.</li>
<li>Maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions and payment arrangements.</li>
<li>Identifying and escalating complex cases to the appropriate team members.</li>
<li>Collaborating with the wider collections team to develop effective strategies for debt recovery.</li>
<li>Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations and company policies regarding debt collection.</li>
<li>Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.</li>
<li>Flag up policy and/or procedures standard gaps and accountable them within agreed timelines.</li>
<li>Monitoring of collections and implementing processes to achieve the targeted collection numbers.</li>
<li>Managing and updating sheets as well as ad-hoc tasks that are related to the collection function.</li>
</ul>
