About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fintech industry and apply academic knowledge in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will work closely with our finance professionals, assisting with a variety of tasks that are crucial to our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Serve as a key liaison between the Finance team and other departments, providing support on financial and accounting matters.
- Manage daily operations, including maintaining accurate accounting records and proper document filing.
- Assist in accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely bank statement reconciliation.
- Support month-end financial reporting and contribute to the audit process, gaining hands-on experience in corporate finance.
- Support the team in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Aid with general administrative tasks within the finance department.
Job Requirements
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
