The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for the efficient end to end process for Cash ,Payments and FX, ensure client deliverables are met within the target deadline , meet the deadline set by internal stakeholders like Treasury in ensuring funding and cash flow are properly positioned.</li><li>Involve in sanction queue monitoring and disposition, daily cash reconciliation, investigate cash related issues.</li><li>Establish controls for all cash movements and cash usage and coordinate activities with auditing functions</li><li>Play a significant role in developing and coordinating data processing systems as they relate to both the cash management group and the entire treasury function along with the collateral operations group</li><li>Applies professional judgment, analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement</li><li>Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex cash , payments and FX settlements issues, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes</li><li>Applies judgment when interpreting data, preparing reports, and presents findings to management</li><li>Makes resolution recommendations based on identified trends and facts</li><li>Participates in, and supports the implementation of, projects as assigned, applies project management skills to support initiatives</li><li>Interprets data and makes recommendations for the launch of new products/ services and upgraded platforms that supports Cash ,Payments and FX</li><li>Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Cash ,Payments and FX&nbsp; processes to identify policy gaps and formulate policies to support the streamlining of related work processes</li><li>Minimizes risk to the bank through a solid understanding of procedural requirements - provides solutions to reduce errors, and to adhere to audit and control policies</li><li>Timely management, escalation and resolution of all requests / inquiries / issues / errors</li><li>Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements</li><li>Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution</li></ul>As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: <ul><li>2-3 years of relevant experience in Cash, Payments and FX Operations in Custody Ops</li><li>Fundamental understanding of Custody, Cash &amp; FX policies</li><li>Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of macros</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance</li></ul> This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
